Making Spirits Bright

Yesterday ITAV core partner the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Lakeland held their annual Milk & Cookie Communion (highly modified for COVID).

We want to give a virtual hug and big THANK YOU to the congregants who brought cookies to donate to ITAV!

We’ll be including these in some of the parcels that deliver this week, but we’d love to be able to get some cookies in every parcel! If you’d like to donate cookies, act fast and contact us! Deliveries go out on WEDNESDAY this week instead of Thursday.

While I’m here, let me also say how proud we all are to be a part of this village, growing in empathy and compassion and we help folks who are struggling. There’s so much need and while our mission is aimed at food insecurity, please know that you aren’t alone. We can help connect you with other services locally, too. And we hope that despite our need to be distant right now, that everyone feels the love and care our village has for our neighbors and each other. We are dedicated to making the world a bit better – together.
